Work History

Before joining CALSTART, Emily held several positions at a U.S. shipyard, where she was involved in new ship construction, ship repair, and capital improvement projects. She also spent a year sailing aboard U.S. container ships, gaining firsthand experience with maritime operations and life at sea. These combined experiences gave her a strong foundation in operations and project management, as well as a practical understanding of the transportation industry—ultimately sparking her passion for advancing more sustainable and innovative mobility solutions.

Emily joined CALSTART in 2023 as a Lead Project Manager supporting the clean offroad equipment team. Her primary goal at CALSTART is to accelerate the adoption of clean energy alternatives in the maritime and offroad industries.
